Italian Sausage Zoodles


Don't be deceived by the looks of this recipe. It packs a punch of flavor with the Italian sausage and goes a long way with the zoodles. 


  • 1 lb mild Italian sausage
  • 1 pkg carrot waffle slices
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp corn starch
  • 1 cup half and half (or condensed milk)
  • 1 tsp worchester sauce
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes


In a large pot, cook sausage with carrots, celery, mushrooms and garlic until sausage is no longer pink. Add chicken broth. In a separate bowl mix corn starch and half/half then add to pot. Add the remaining ingredients and cook until bubbling. Serve over zoodles (or regular noodles).
